Nursi Conferences in Malaysia

The conference called “The role of justice in solving the problems of the Muslim World” is held in 24 July of 2009 in International Islamic University, Malaysia. Most of the participants include faculty members and students of the Islamic University and guests from Australia, Turkey and Philippines.        

THE CONFERENCES HELD IN MALAYSIA INTERNATIONAL ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY AND MALAYSIA NATIONAL UNIVERSITY  

In the conference, about the perspective of Said Nursi’s justice and the remedies for the problems of the Islamic world, İhsan Kasım es-Salihî, who translated  the Risale-i Nur Collection from Turkish to Arabic, among the faculty members of Islamic University Prof. Dr. Abdulaziz Bergus, Dr. Najmaddin Zanki, the representative of  Malaysia - Turkey Culturel Centre Cevdet Yıldız presented their papers. One of the attractive parts of the conference is the presentation of the life of Said Nursi. In addition, the fair stand of the Risale-i Nur Collection attracted so many guests.

Another conference is held in the same day, in University Kebangsaan Malaysia (Malaysia National University). İhsan Kasım es-Salihi attended the conference that attracted so many academicians. Moreover, a meeting is held with the faculty members about the translation of the Risale-i Nur Collection into Malay. 

THE FAIRSTAND IN MALAYSIA ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY 

The presentation of the Risale-i Nur Collection is made in 20-24 July 2009, in Malaysia Islamic University. In the fair stand, that is open for 5 days whole day, many students, academicians found the opportunity to see and buy the Risale-i Nur Collection in different languages. 

THE ACTIVITIES OF THE CLUB OF THE QUR’AN

Among the faculty members of Faculty of Theology, Dr. Ibnor Azli has started the Risale-i Nur meetings as an activity of the Club of the Qur’an in his home. For more than 4 years, academicians and master’s and doctor’s degree students attended these meetings.
